News Flash from VA SHRM Council President Karen Edmonds

Hello everyone,

1) Thanks to the generosity of our Council members, we raised $531 in our very first Virtual Foundation Fundraiser! This has been a great success. Your contributions are critical to underwrite the valuable tools the Foundation provides to HR professionals in the form of scholarships, research, and other resource tools.

 2) Reminder of the VA SHRM Scholarship opportunity - deadline to apply August 11.

3) Reminder of SHRM Pinnacle Awards submissions due September 9.

4) Reminder that the Early Bird Rate ends August 11 for the Virginia Workforce Conference.  The conference planners have now included V3 certification training.
